- ground beef & pork mix (1 package) - approx. 1.38lb
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 packs Lipton ("recipe secrets") onion dry soup mix
- ketchup
- five pieces of bread
- 1/2 - 3/4 cup milk or cream (amount depends on the size of your soaking container)
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2/3 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- crack two eggs into the pot or container where you will be mixing all of your ingredients.
- whisk eggs
- add all meat
- add 1 1/2 packs of onion soup mix
- add 1/2 - 2/3 of a cup of ketchup
- add 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- in a separate container, start soaking five pieces of bread in your milk or cream
- after a few minutes of soaking, squish bread and milk mixture w/ hands
- squeegie milk & bread mixture with hands to drain milk from bread and put squeegied bread into the meat mix container
- blend all ingredients with hands
- butter a pan (glass preferably, like a brownie pan)
- put meat loaf mixture into the buttered pan, flattening it out.
- mix 1 cup of ketchup with 2/3 cup brown sugar in a separate container - let it soak for 10 minutes, mixing periodically.
- spread this ketchup - brown sugar topping onto the meat loaf
- place in oven on 350 degrees for an hour
